Born 1975, biotechnologist, presently post-graduate student at the Faculty of Biology at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Member of ZPFP District Wielkopolska. He writes about his passion: Took up nature photography nearly 10 years ago. Since then, my interests has narrowed down to staying awake at dawn, getting wet in mist and dew drops, sometimes even in streams. I like motifs which are momentary but don't run away. I try to catch the mood of the moment, something that makes it unique and unforgettable. I often lean over the detail which is easy to miss or even trot over even though it presents so well on the screen. |

I travel to many places, often to where my friends live. There I can remember again that photopraphy is the source of pure joy for me and is worth getting up in the middle of the night. The image of chamomiles is a classical example of sheer luck and chance: after a few hours of aimless driving around with a friend in search for a spring motive for a sunset we just stopped in the middle of a field. The sun was already so low that I hardly managed to take my camera out, change the lens and focus, not too precisely, as you can see. I released the shutter. Too late?
